Meet Camiel
I did not build Camiel Mentoring from a clean life or a perfect path.
Camiel Mentoring was created from what God kept restoring, revealing, and requiring me to steward.
I know what it means to live through seasons that shape you before you have language for them. I know what it means to rebuild after life, work, loss, disappointment, and painful beginnings try to define what you believe is possible.
My walk with God became real in the place where strength was no longer enough, ambition was not enough, and survival could no longer be mistaken for wholeness.
Some stories cannot be explained by a title, a résumé, or a polished introduction.
The life behind the mission
I have lived through seasons that could have made me stop believing in what was still inside of me.
Seasons that challenged identity. Seasons that tested faith. Seasons that brought loss, disappointment, rebuilding, and questions I could not answer quickly. Seasons where I had to keep moving while still trying to understand what life had done, what God was doing, and what I was supposed to do next.
That kind of life teaches you things.
People can be gifted and still feel lost.
People can be capable and still need guidance.
People can survive painful seasons and still need restoration.
People can carry purpose and still need development before they are ready to walk in it well.
That is why Camiel Mentoring matters to me. People do not only need to be told they are strong. They need the support, tools, community, and guidance to become who God created them to be.
Why this work matters to me
Camiel Mentoring was created for the gap between knowing there is more and knowing how to begin walking toward it.
I care about the person who is close to giving up, but still has something inside of them that has not been fully developed, understood, or used.
I care about the person trying to make life make sense. The person who knows there is more in them, but does not know how to access it, strengthen it, steward it, or walk it out.
This work matters to me because inspiration alone is not enough. A person can hear a powerful message and still not know what to do next. They can believe God has placed something in them and still need help developing the discipline, wisdom, confidence, and structure to carry it.
What God began to show me
What God restores in us becomes something we are responsible to steward.
Over time, God began showing me that what I had lived through was not only about survival.
There was wisdom in it. There was responsibility in it. There was stewardship in it. There was something I was being called to serve from, not just recover from.
He began showing me that my life, my lessons, my gifts, my work experience, my faith, my resilience, and my ability to see what people are carrying could not be kept separate. They all belonged to the same assignment.
Camiel Mentoring is part of how I am stewarding that assignment.
My purpose through this work
My purpose through Camiel Mentoring is to help people grow into who God created them to be.
This means helping people move beyond survival and into development. Helping them understand who they are. Helping them strengthen what is in their hands. Helping them develop their gifts, skills, confidence, discipline, and direction.
Helping people make sense of the areas of life they are trying to rebuild.
Helping people develop what God placed inside of them.
Helping people steward their life with wisdom and responsibility.
Helping people take real steps toward calling, impact, and legacy.
What I am building through Camiel Mentoring
Camiel Mentoring is being shaped as a faith-led mentoring community for people who need support in more than one area of life. The focus is growth, development, stewardship, community, and becoming.
Mentoring and guidance
For people who need help thinking through identity, direction, decisions, purpose, responsibility, and next steps.
Teaching and development
For people who need to develop their gifts, skills, confidence, discipline, and ability to walk in what they are called to carry.
Community and shared support
For people who need a place to learn, ask questions, grow with others, and stay connected while they are building.
Practical resources
For people who need devotionals, guides, worksheets, tools, and teaching materials that help them apply what they are learning in real life.
What I believe
How the mission comes to life
The mission becomes practical through the way people are supported, developed, and equipped to keep moving forward.
God is the foundation
God is the foundation of identity, wisdom, purpose, restoration, and legacy.
People need more than motivation
People need truth, development, support, structure, and practical help.
Gifts must be developed
Potential has to be stewarded, strengthened, practiced, and carried with responsibility.
Legacy is built through stewardship
Legacy is built through the life we choose to live, the people we serve, the gifts we develop, and the responsibility we accept for what God placed in our hands.
My heart is to help people become who God created them to be.
Camiel Mentoring is for the person who knows there is more inside of them than what they have been able to walk in. Through faith-led mentoring, community, teaching, and practical resources, this space is here to help people grow, rebuild, steward their life well, develop what God placed in them, and take real steps toward their calling, their impact, and their legacy.
